Mati: In my Short Description

Actually, when I wrote this article I had difficulty in how and where to start. Mati is certainly an awesome, fascinating, wonderful, unforgettable, great, and a very beautiful city. Mati is the capital of Davao Oriental (which is considered as the Coconut Capital of the Philippines). Certainly, if you have been to Mati, the very most thing that you can never forget is that, "coconut is in everywhere". Where ever your eyes will look at, either north, south, west and east, in all driection, coconut trees are present. Because of that, Mati is very abundant of coconut products (copra, charcoal, timber, bukayo etc. Yeah! I know what you're looking for, tourist spots, right? :) Well, if you are a beach fanatic, Mati is the best place for you. Mati is blessed with beautiful, adorable and lovely beaches (see my Tourism Articles in the Categories). The Internet today had already provided all important information about Mati (www.mati.gov.ph),but for me, Mati is the loveliest city in the world (of course, this is my homeland) :) Mati might be infamous to the majority, but what the most people know, is that, Philippines has an unknown treasure, and that is Mati. This city is blessed with peaceful and harmonious society, fresh or unpolluted air, God fearing People and of course, beautiul and handsome, :) I will not make this article long, let's end it up by saying, "if you haven't been to Mati, you haven't been to the Philippines. :)

Pujada Island

PUJADA ISLAND, A PERFECT SITE FOR DIVERS-BACK TO BACK - OAK ISLAND - This is 56 hectare- island located at the entrance of Pujada bay in Barangay Lawigan. It is surrounded by white sandy beaches ideal for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. The place can be reached by motorboat after about an hour travel.

GREGORIO-DITA BEACH RESORT

Dahican Beach Resort

BEAT THE WAVES AT DAHICAN - The beach of Barangay Dahican is characterized by white sand and oftentimes strong wind making it ideal for skimboarding, wind and board surfing. It is approximately 15 minute-ride fro poblacion and accessible by any means of land transportation.

Waniban Beach

THE WANIBAN ISLAND - Located at Barangay Tamisan, this small island of approximately four (4) hectares is also ideal for picnic, swimming and sunbathing because of its white sand. It would take 30 minute-boat ride from Mati pier to reach the place. Some foreign, domestic and local tourist have gone in the area of sight-seeing and beach holiday. Recommended duration of visit are slag (stop, look and go), excursion and overnight camping.

Cinco-Masao Beach

BE CAPTIVATED WITH CINCO-MASAO BEACH -The beach is approximately 18 kilometers from Mati Poblacion located at Sitio Masao, Barangay Bobon. It is resting atop overlooking Pujada Bay and is being secured with a railing that enhance the ambiance of the beach. Stairways are provided for easy going down the beach. Floating Cottages are especially built to suit the preference of the beach goers. Atop are vicious cottages and along with it are facilities like water, toilet and bath, videoke lounge where music lovers could enjoy singing. Convention facilities are also available suitable for meetings, seminars, family reunion and other group gatherings. One can also stay I either air conditioned or non air conditioned rooms.
